Libby Frees

Blending a worship style with a 1970’s pop vocal, Libby Frees opens new doors into the world of Christian music. Born in Cortez, Colorado and moving to Oklahoma when she was seven years old, Frees is the daughter of a Nazarene pastor and grew up singing in worship bands when she was 14.

Libby Frees began performing at the young age of two. Her first experience on a stage was in a Christmas musical. At the pivotal age of 13, she first picked up a guitar. Just a year later Frees was involved in leading her local church’s worship band. She has been leading worship ever since. While attending Southern Nazarene University, she was a part of their traveling worship band, Remedy. Remedy provided Frees with the opportunity to perform in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Kentucky. While in Louisville, Kentucky, Remedy led worship at the Nazarene Youth Conference for over 7,000 students.

Currently, Frees is part of Royal Company, a songwriting collective that exists to support the practices and values of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene through creative worship and will be leading worship at the 2019 Nazarene Youth Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. Royal Company has two singles currently available on all music platforms - Never Change and Reckless Love - and one single set to release on February 1st.
