Kloves

Kloves number is rising! Hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, this techno powerhouse has an insatiable work ethic and thirst for Ableton production knowledge, which is showing no signs of slowing down. Fresh off a Canadian summer tour, she held it down at the 8th annual Meme Festival in Winnipeg, Manitoba, opening up for such artists as Mr. C, The Orb, and Justin James. Kloves returned once more to Connect festival, Canada’s longest running music festival, operating its 22nd consecutive year in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan. There she performed a dark and moody sunrise set for Eric Sneo, DJ Dan, and Woody Mcbride. Back at home, Kloves was selected to be one of 10 artists given the opportunity to attend Richie Hawtin’s Master class, later performing direct open duties for Hawtin himself at the HiFi Club. Next on the docket, Kloves took on San Francisco, opening up for Marcel Dettmann, Richie Hawtin, and Hito at the Midway SF. When she is not producing her own tracks, she takes the time to give back to her community by specifically scouting out female talent to join the roster on her record label OBSKUR MUSIC, co-founded with Nomad Black. Monthly podcasts featuring 60 minute sets, can be found on their social media pages on the last Monday of every month. OBSKUR MUSIC is celebrating their first anniversary of operations, since their debut in September of 2016.
