Jayna Jennings

Only two percent of the population are redheads, and Jayna Jennings makes music as unique as her hair. Jayna welcome you into her world with her emotive, moving, and relatable songwriting in her latest release, ‘Courtyards & Aviaries, Pt. 1.’ Eight of the nine songs on this album have received worldwide radio airplay. She was nominated in many categories for the Nashville Universe Awards, including Songwriter of the Year. Jayna is also the host of Showcase, a Tennessee based TV show that spotlights musicians who are doing amazing things with their art. In January of 2018, Jayna became host of the twitter hour, #UnsignedChat, the US division of #MusicHourUK. Jayna will be releasing another album in 2019, and her goal with this new music remains the same- to spread a message of hope to everyone who listens to her and to inspire others with her songs.

Jayna wrote her first song on a dare in 2011, and fell in love with songwriting. She began to learn guitar and piano and play her songs for audiences who connected with her works. She was one half of an Americana duo, Copper River, until 2014. As a solo artist, she released a Christian EP, "Safe and Sound", in 2016 and a singer/songwriter album "Courtyards & Aviaries Part 1" in May of 2017. She enjoyed a successful album release party for Part 1 and has been playing the songs at events and concerts, doing radio interviews to promote the album and was also featured as the Face of August for #MusicHourUK. Her connection with #MusicHourUK grew when she became the host of #UnsignedChat, a sister twitter hour that boasts an award nomination and many supporters across the globe.
Jayna is also the host Showcase with Jayna Jennings, a television and internet based show that features musicians and songwriters.
Influenced by Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon, and The Avett Brothers, her sound is deeply rooted in the Americana genre, and adds elements of country and pop.
