Liam Johnson Music

Liam Johnson is an acoustic guitarist and singer-songwriter from the East Midlands, UK. Growing up in the small town of Ollerton, Liam discovered his passion for playing the guitar at the age of 9 after being inspired by his musical teachers and relatives. Since then, he has graduated from the University Of Sheffield with a Music degree and received the Dr Mo Sacoor MRCP Performance Scholarship for his solo performances.

His deep appreciation for many genres of music can be found in his music and his past. With over a decade of experience, Liam has performed across the UK as both a solo performer and a member of function bands, orchestra pits, rock/metal bands, folk sessions, fusion ensembles, big bands, jazz quartets and classical Indian music ensembles. Liam draw influences from his diverse musical background to create compositions that showcase the beauty of the guitar as a solo instrument.

Liam is currently composing new music for an album release in 2018. He is available for work as a solo artist, teacher and session musician for musicals, weddings and other events as both an acoustic and electric guitarist.
