Grampa's Chili is an original band. We define our sound based on the collaborative compositions and arrangements of members past and present.
Grampa's Chili is a California band. Our music and our culture is one thread in the larger fabric of the California and American musical tradition. Whereas we gratefully acknowledge the contributions of our elders, the music and the ideals of that tradition become the tools for new musical creation and evolution.
Grampa's Chili is a American jamband. We have shared the stage with touring Americana acts like Yarn, The Motet, and ALO to name a few.We practice the art of redefining our music in live performance to create space for cultivating joy, exploring ideas, and invigorating audiences. By opening our live performance to spontaneity and serendipity, we seek to generate and amplify a current of creativity and freedom to inspire our audiences.
We do this because we can.
