January 2011, three guys and their cheap instruments get together in a garage in St-Bruno, Lac-St-Jean. Karl Fortin (drums), Christopher Treamblay (guitar) and Bryan Bergeron (vocals) name the group Krystalyan. Other musicians are to join the band, but it is only in 2014 that Krystalyan finds the right combination. Yannick Tremblay (guitar) and Raymond Werugia (bass) take their place beside the original three musicians to form what is the current official lineup. Krystalyan takes the stage next to world renouned bands such as The Faceless, Rings of Saturn,The Agonist, Beyond Creation, Erhima, Threat Signal, Fallujah and Black Crown Initiate before deciding to record their first album. In august 2015, ''Undefined'' (mixed and mastered by Marc-André Tremblay) is released and so far it has received a warm reception, spreading to many countries. The band is currently working on their second album and it is already clear that their composition skills are evolving. Le trio, alors composé de Karl Fortin (batteur), Christopher Tremblay (guitariste) et Bryan Bergeron (chanteur) fonde Krystalyan. Rapidement le groupe s'impose de la rigueur et la chimie musicale se développe. D'autres musiciens se joindront à l'équipe, mais c'est seulement en 2014 que Krystalyan trouve sa combinaison gagnante. Yannick Tremblay (guitare) et Raymond Werugia (basse) s'associent aux trois membres fondateurs pour former le lineup actuelle de la formation. Krystalyan partage la scène métal avec plusieurs bands dont des groupes de renommée internationale: The Faceless, Rings of Saturn, Threat Signal, The Agonist, Beyond Creation, Erhima, Fallujah et Black Crown Initiate. En août 2015, après plusieurs mois de travail acharné, Krystalyan sort son premier album intitulé ''Undefined''. L'album, mixé et masterisé par Marc-André Tremblay, reçoit un excellent accueil et la musique du groupe se propage dans plusieurs pays. Plus motivé que jamais, Krystalyan travaille déjà sur la production de son deuxième album. Force est de constater que le groupe a beaucoup évolué.
