About Jordan Hunt

Jordan Hunt is a composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist.

In March 2018 he released debut EP Long Lost on 12” vinyl. His debut single ‘Mother’ was premiered on BBC Radio 6 Music and the music video was premiered by Another Man, admiring his "mesmerising... spellbinding melodic pop sound”.

Classically trained at RNCM, RAM and RCM, and drawing on his experiences as violinist in art-pop orchestra The Irrepressibles, Canadian band The Hidden Cameras and as long-standing musical companion to Grammy-nominated Olivia Chaney, he creates vivid, emotive music, weaving melodic ‘sad pop’ and symphonic-inspired textures.

He is a co-founder of Principle Six, and is Musical Director of the Theo Adams Company, an ever-growing and diverse London-based collective of artists, designers, dancers, musicians, and performers.

Selected credits include collaborations with Alexander McQueen, Another Man, Arthur Arbesser, Barbican, Bat For Lashes, Channel 4, David Sims, FKA twigs, Fiona Shaw, Frieze, Hermès, Isamaya Ffrench, ICA, The Ivy, Lana Del Rey, Latitude Festival, Liberty of London, Lisson Gallery, Louis Vuitton, Matthew Stone, Nick Knight, Patrick Wolf, Raqib Shaw, Royal Academy, Tate Britain, W Magazine, Young Vic

His classical work is performed at major venues and festivals, including the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, King's Place, Aldeburgh Festival, Britten Festival, Bridgewater Hall, and on BBC Radio 3 and 4; by such renowned performers as BBC Singers, BBC Phil, Philharmonia, London Sinfonietta, Hallé Youth Orchestra, Angell Trio, Katherine Broderick, Claire Booth, Marina Poplavskaya, James Macmillan. He studied composition at RNCM, RAM and RCM.
