About Šuma Čovjek

Šuma Čovjek is back with a new single, a new album and two concert tours this Summer and Autumn 2024! The transcultural band from Aargau will release the first single “Comme un poisson dans l’eau” from their third studio album “Ringišpil” (release autumn 2024) on May 3rd.

Their live concerts are must see, their cheerfulness is infectious, their sound is permeated with a pleasant warmth. Lovingly staged songs, which range from melancholic ballads to oriental beats and chanson to rhythmic Balkan pop and fat beats. There is no way your dancing feet or hearts remain untouched. Linguistically, you can look forward to acrobatic language leaps between French, Croatian, Arabic and German, where interaction with the audience is at the heart of every show.

The new single "Comme un poisson dans l'eau" captures the moment of falling in love; with all its lightness, clarity and childlike naivety. "Comme un poisson dans l'eau", like a fish in the water, you give in to the sweet pull of happiness and let yourself drift through life. But the song also challenges the display of moments of happiness and supposed love on social media, taking much of the essence of the moment.

Šuma Čovjek released their first album "No Man's Land" in 2018. The accompanying single “Bouge ton cœur” was one of the most played songs on SRF3 that same year. The second studio album “Fata Morgana” followed in 2022. Highlights of their concert tours so far have been performances at the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Open Air St. Gallen, the Zermatt Unplugged, Rock oz’Arènes, Heitere Open Air and many more.
