Michael Vickers

Michael Vickers is a British singer-songwriter from Leicester. His combination of indie-rock, rap, folk and heartfelt lyrics has audiences describing his music as “clever, captivating, beautiful, vivacious, unique and spellbinding.”

Hoping to break the mould, Michael’s humour and vulnerability is what shines through in both his lyrics and his onstage persona. He’s regarded as a “down to earth guy”, with one review on his Facebook page reading “Imagine the Beatles and Oasis had a love child, and that love child just happened to be a really likeable guy with an infectious personality.”

He’s continued to impress the industry at Glastonbury Festival, BBC Introducing shows and performances live on Notts TV. Now, with several new singles in the pipeline, and performing with a band, Michael is once again looking to build on the success he has already gained. “I write a lot of songs and I've got a lot of stuff to release. I’ve put my heart and soul into this music and I've managed to do that whilst staying true to myself. Some of the songs are brutally honest but I’ve also written from other people’s perspectives and talked about different subjects that I haven’t put into my music before. I am really excited to see how people receive them.”
Michael has also featured in several promotional videos for ROLAND. In 2017, he co wrote ‘Songs of Loss and Longing’, a 10 track album of love songs which was signed to Bibliotheque Music.
