Abstract Division

Abstract Division is an exciting collaboration between two established techno artists: Paul Boex and Dave Miller. Paul is label-boss of the respected Dynamic Reflection imprint, experienced DJ and producer and the driving force behind the series of the succesful Mental Evolution events in the Netherlands. Dave has earned his stripes through his longstanding career of (vinyl-only) DJ-sets, productions with Damian Keane and as part of the Audiosculpture collective. Combining their love and keen ear for techno, Abstract Division likes to surprise their crowd. What makes them so unique is that they never agree upfront what shape their performance will take: they each prepare their own track list for their sets without consulting each other. They merge and adjust to each other's sound LIVE during their sets which makes every set of them unrepeatable. After releases on labels like Len Faki's FIGURE Jams, Semantica, Agents of Time's Obscura and on their own Dynamic Reflection label, after such noteworthy remixes like ReAxis or Vertical Spectrum and sublime podcasts done for Reclaim Your City, Electric Deluxe, Slam.fm and Dance Trippin, the duo of Paul and Dave has still a tremendous amount of unexploited potential when it comes to production and performance.
