About Psychic Temple
Equally immersed in the sound of California’s canyons and the swamps of the deep South, Psychic Temple’s cult leader/guitarist Chris Schlarb takes great pleasure confounding fans and critics alike. Labelled as “unclassifiable," by NPR, their newest album, “IV” finds Psychic Temple in full blown Wrecking Crew mode backed by legendary British vocalist Terry Reid and former Joni Mitchell bassist Max Bennett. In 2016 band followed up their folk/soul opus, “III” with an expansive, "In A Silent Way"-esque take on Brian Eno’s “Music For Airports”. No matter what context, the group adheres to it’s own compass in hopes that the most adventurous listeners will follow.
