Ryon Holmedal - Bio
Canadian alternative folk rock singer/songwriter Ryon Holmedal sweeps away at the soul,
exploring the light and contrasting shadow spilled upon the human experience.
Manic, (released July 24th 2018) is the first single from the new studio album Silver Thread. It was recently featured on
106.7 The Drive as their Indie Spotlight showcase.
The Gathering released (November 27 2018) with pre-release radio play on CKUA 94.9 and Rock 106.7 The Drive.
Ryon’s current projects include the debut studio album Silver Thread to be released early 2019. “Tethers”, a multimedia production in musical/visual storytelling and “Shelter In Place” a debut acoustic CD recorded live off the floor and released July 2017. Reflecting the heart of a modern minstrel, solo or with a full ensemble, Ryon seeks to create an intimate experience in every performance.
