I always love attending this annual event to see Tyler Rich. It's always a guaranteed good time. And there's nothing like him singing "California Grown" in Clearlake ... As long as he's the one performing, I'll be showing up!

The Tyler Rich show was absolutely fantastic! From his originals - new & hits ... to covers of classics, like Have You Ever Seen The Rain by CCR ... to his song "Dogs Don't Die" which he wrote about his pup Abby he had rescued 17 years ago & had to say goodbye to earlier this year - I guarantee there wasn't a dry eye in the building. However, after the show, that's when things took a turn. After every show, Tyler likes to take pictures with & sign pictures for his fans. He does this at every show. It's one of the many reasons why his fans love him so much. There was no opener and the show ended really early - around 9:45pm - earlier than most shows I've been to at this venue. He was about half way through his line when this woman, apparently the manager, came storming down the aisle-way swearing up a storm, not caring there was anyone around. She was talking to another - very disrespectful security guard - and they were saying "who the f*ck does he think he is?? this is f*cking ridiculous! he needs to leave now!!" The fans that were there couldn't believe how rude someone for this venue would speak like this. I heard a security guard was blocking pictures being taken with her hands covering the cameras. I've not once EVER seen a venue act like this. I drove up from San Francisco for this show, as I've done for other artists that play here - like Matt Nathanson ... but now I will second guess buying tickets & supporting this venue if this is the kind of people they have representing them. If they make things right -- fire this woman & her "yes mam" security & get the right people to fill this position that actually have a love for music & the experience of a concert -- & also apologize to Tyler Rich & his fans, I will consider going back.

About Tyler Rich

Northern California-raised, Nashville-rooted Tyler Rich, found his love for music at an early age during family gatherings. Growing up, he would spend countless hours, watching his uncle and friends sing everything from Garth Brooks, John Denver, to Creedence Clearwater. Fast forward to graduating college with a degree in Economics, Tyler moved to LA to pursue a different game of numbers – music – exploring various genres with songwriting and bands before taking the leap as a solo artist. Since, Tyler has amassed half a billion global streams to date and notched three No. 1 hits on SiriusXM’s The Highway with his debut album TWO THOUSAND MILES, featuring PLATINUM-certified “The Difference”, GOLD-certified “Leave Her Wild”, plus the subsequent viral hit “Better Than You’re Used To.” In 2022, Tyler joined forces with one of Canada’s most successful bilingual singer-songwriters, Marie-Mai for a duet on “Thinkin’ We’re In Love,” which reached #5 on Quebec Pop Radio. His second album “Leaving California” is slated for an early summer 2024 release, with single releases planned for May & June. Tyler’s music embodies the feelings all people have in common – the need for acceptance, devotion and a place to call their own – and that empathetic spirit extends to animals too. With Rich Rescues, Tyler visits local shelters while out on the road to raise awareness for pet adoption to fans in those cities.
