Nikki Love Project

While Nikki Novickis first became known as a singer-songwriter, a decade ago she began performing around the Pot Belly Sandwich circuit in Chicago along with other local bars and restaurants. She never had been confined to one genre. Her early years of traveling around the united states had her musical talents exploring jazz, blues, folk but came back to her rock root with a pop edge.
The Nikki Love Project came about when she reunited with childhood friends Vic Pedrasa, Drums/Guitar, and Philly Jo (Felipe Bermudez), Bass/Guitar, delivering a rock trio of well crafted rock folk pop sound. Soon after joined Al Amey and Dan O'brian and began to make a well devised Contemporary Rock Band.
They finished their first self titled EP early 2018 and now releasing their 2nd Ep Mermaid at Sea out now. NLP is currently promoting our EPs while writing and recording our first full album.
The heart is in their music of the sonorous blend of Nikki's sultry voice and acoustic guitar married with brilliant bass and electric guitar with a great pulse. It is the authenticity of Nikki's Tunes and the joy of playing as a band together that makes them wonderful to see live.
