LA River Bend

LA River Bend started up in August 2012 along the LA River in the Atwater Village neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA. Singer/songwriter Nate Weiner & engineer Branden Stroup were finishing up Nate's solo record, Ride the Sun. They met cellist Emily Elkin, and the 3 of them drove up the west coast to Portland, OR & back, playing gigs along the way. Back in LA, the band is constantly playing with drummer Jacob Seldes on drums, adding even more dynamics & talent to the band. Their unique sound, blends the intimacy of folk with the towering sounds of rock, all with a calming SoCal influence. LA River Bend have just released their debut EP, Run These Hills. It's first single "Summer Wind" premiered on Grimy Goods & was picked up by the Huff Post. LA River Bend are playing shows constantly all over the LA area!
