He performs regularly with his own Group The Brown Brothers whose focus is on a tribute to soul music..The Howard Morrison Trio - dedicated to the music of New Zealand's greatest entertainer Sir Howard Morrison..& The Hit Men - a group specifically focused on the music of the Rat Pack & Motown..as well as regularly working with Nz"s best vocalists and performers.

He organises and delivers events, he regularly features as a voice over for ads, he is a well-known Master of Ceremonies at Major events throughout NZ, he has acted in NZ Films (What becomes of the Broken Hearted / Mt Zion) he has released his own "covers" Album called Reflections and most recently has added travelling the world performing on Cruise Ships as part of his Portfolio.

Russell has a range of up-coming projects but recently he is focused on releasing recorded material for 2016/17.
