About Hack-Med
Hackmed is a Colombian modern Hard Rock band, formed in 2010.
HACKMED was born as a rockband in the wake of Andrew Munoz’s Brother who died in law force. Their social lyrics are looking for the expansion of the humand mind, focusing on the qualities and realities of the humankind. They have an audio visual proposal along with a female voice, besides that they had Shared scene with renown groups of long trajectory and diverse musical genders. HACKMED is the result of new sounds, a proposal that wants to show the social reality that many want to express, at a time of musical superficialities, keeping something that remind us that the human being does not lack of conscience.
MAKING OF STUDIO
During the year 2010 Hackmed started to work on the pre-production of their songs and after exploring differed sounds and influences they choose 10 tracks and began to record their first studio album ¨CONTROL VIRTUAL¨ during the time of 4 years they were looking for the best sound and quality In each musical instrument and lyrics composition, with renowned musical producer Jorge Holguín ¨Pyngwi¨, who has worked with recognized national and international bands and artists such as Don Tetto, The Mills, Rocka, Buraco among others, at Art&Co Holding Studios In the city of Bogotá, Colombia.
After completing the album in 2015 they started to look for quality in the mix, testing with different international engineers, they decided to make the mix and master of all their work with the renowned professional recording engineer Boris Milán multiple winner of Grammy awards, who has worked with great Artists such as Don Tetto, Fonseca, Fanny Lu, The Mills, Luis Fonsi, Andres Cepeda, Carlos Santana, among others at Milan Studios in Miami-Florida, USA.
DISCOGRAPHY AND SINGLE
On July 16th, 2016, they released the first single from their debut album titled "DESPERTAR" One of the most complete songs full of realistic content that talks about the issues that Latin America has been living for several years, as a result of violence Originated by economic interests and power.
On March 25th, 2017 they officially released their debut album "CONTROL VIRTUAL" and then on April 8th, 2017 they released the official Video Clip of "DESPERTAR" through Facebook Live and on their official YouTube channel.
