The Ukulele Orchestra Of Great Britain

Such a fun, talented group of musicians. I brought my 10 year old son, who was pretty skeptical. By the end of the show he was asking when we can see the Ukulele Orchestra again. We'll definitely be seeing them on their 2025 tour.

Very entertaining performance… high energy, eclectic music genre selections, virtuoso ukelele playing and vocal talent layered with vibrant wit and physical comedy. Midland Center for the Arts is a wonderful venue with plentiful parking and very helpful staff especially noticeable in how they accommodate and assist the physically impaired

I love this group. They are talented, witty, and their presentations are impeccable. Followed them for years on YouTube and couldn't miss when they came to my area. What a treat! Thank you guys for another great performance, but this time live!

A WOW of a show. Saw them originally on Youtube and had to go see them when they were in the area. A lot of the audience missed them doing their routine where they are playing behind each other's necks. I have seen that on Youtube many times and was looking forward to seeing it live.

A great night out. Venue as always were friendly and welcoming and flexible about seating. UOOGB were great as always, and especially got got things moving at the end. They even persuaded me to buy a tea-towel! It was a thrill when George came to sit near us for part for the evening. 5 out of 5.

An absolutely incredible evening of great music. The Ukele orchestra were utterly professional in delivering a real show stopping performance. We are hoping that a return performance will soon be made.

Absolutely brilliant! Such a diverse group of skilled musicians, music arrangements, quietly and gently witty and entertaining and in such a great venue with drinks snacks and tea available. You couldn’t ask for better ! Drive from Belfast and back was well worth the journey and would do it again!

After some sound issues and an impromptu history lesson from the Ukulele Orchestra’s founder George Hinchcliffe, the delayed start did not throw the orchestra at all. I’ve seen them perform many times over the years, indeed with just two of those who I started watching on stage. The audience is always treated to each musician displaying their full repertoire beyond outstanding Ukulele playing, be that singing, dancing, or superb patter between each number. If you’ve seen them before and think you have seen it all, go again when you can to experience the many new songs and innovative ways of presenting them. The orchestra are clearly in rude health and will be entertaining us for many years to come.

What an amazing combination of fun and talent. The music was top notch AND the fun entertainment part was fun. All together an evening to think of over and over. I have now bought a CD and will be watching for their USA return.

We have watched this group on YouTube over the past couple of years and have always wanted to see them. We came travelled from Jonesborough TN to Lynchburg, VA to enjoy their performance! Plus I play the ukulele, so this group inspires me greatly!! Absolutely a wonderful and funny talented group of artists!

The Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain has such joyous energy. The chemistry between the players is wonderful. What a great place too - the Caramoor Center in Katonah, NY was a lovely venue with antiques and real art and gorgeous architecture. Every single person I spoke to was friendly and happy to be there. We laughed and we listened in awe to these very talented musicians. Wishing I could see them again next week!

This was my first concert in person with this group, and my first at this venue as well. I purchased tickets with a military discount, which meant that they were held at Will Call for me for 4 months until the event. This was no problem for the venue, and the process of picking them up was smooth, as was the FREE parking. This group is AMAZING, and one that should be seen in person! From the first moment, all the way to the end, it was enjoyable, entertaining, and one I'd see again (as many in the audience were doing, it seemed). The tickets were a great value for the money. It's no wonder that their fans follow them from town to town and see them whenever they come to their part of the U.S., they are that good. So glad I was able to drive out to Indianapolis from St. Louis to see them. I'd do it again.

Not at all what I expected! Lots of humor, music, and fun interpretations of songs I knew. I loved all the different sounds that the orchestra created using the ukulele. Loved the audience reaction, and they played off our reaction as well. I'd see them again if they came to the area.

Zellerbach continues to be one of the best theatre venues in the bay area. The show was entertaining, fun and imaginative. Very good show with a huge dose of British humor.

Love their wide range of music genres showcasing ukuleles are absolutely not just for aloha music, the texture that can be achieved with different uke techniques and most of all their dry British humor.

We were somewhat leery about attending this concert, in that it was an hour away and many of our favorites were no longer with the Orchestra. No worries! The concert was truly great, full of their trademark virtuosity and humor. We have notified friends who are in cities where the Orchestra will be performing to no not miss this event. They were great! I have tried for a long time to attend one of their concerts, but they were either sold out or on a night I couldn't make it. And then, Covid hit! So glad I was able to go see them this time around. It was well worth the 8 hour trip we made to St. Joseph to see them!

A wonderful evening with the UOGB. Fantastic players and singers. I was particularly impressed by Lura Currie's performance - a great addition to the orchestra. Long may they pluck!

Golly I don't know why I got this request for a review. I didn't see the show. I'd love to see the show...I follow you all on the computer....you've brought me so much joy..especially during those dark, shut in days. Please come to Greensboro, NC ASAP....we have many lovely venue's and I could personally round up at least thirty ukulele players to there...just me! You are a light in an often :( world. Please come to visit....please.....

The UOGB concert was as the British say "Brilliant"! They did not disappoint. It started right on time and they played from 8:00 pm until 10:00 pm with a short intermission. Their playlist covered all genres of music and their wit and talent was fantastic! I got to meet Dave, Ben and Jonty before the show outside and they were so friendly and funny. Not just a glad you came to the show conversation and then disappear Such great personalities! That truly put the icing on the cake for me! (There was no meet and greet at the end of the show, I think because of covid) The best part was that they played my favorite song "Heroes" as their encore. I sure hope that they return to Lafayette College on their next US tour. The theater is a great venue. Small and personal. Not a bad seat in the house. I messaged Leisa on her fan page the next morning and I couldn't believe that I got a response within hours. You can tell that the members of the group are truly grateful for their fans. Can't say enough about such a wonderful night!! (Or maybe I have, lol)
