Grammy Award-winning artist and bass player, Trae Pierce is leading a wild new musical experience known as Trae Pierce & the T-Stones (TPTS). From his Florida home, this bass “monster” has hand-picked a vibrant young group of musicians with limitless energy and extreme talent, and together they have been tearing up dance floors throughout the United States with a genre-blending twist of rock rhythms that bring out the best in every beat. Defined by hard-edged rock mixed with hip-hop and pop, Trae Pierce & the T-Stones have developed a high-energy live show with a modern feel that recalls the unstoppable grooves of HipHopRockabillyFunk!

Trae Pierce is a world-class bassist and four-time Grammy Award-winner (with the legendary Blind Boys of Alabama) that cut his bass chops as a member of The Ohio Players. He discovered and produced world renowned rap artist, Flo Rida, and has participated in recordings with The Blind Boys of Alabama, Randy Travis, Phill Collins, Hank Williams Jr, Susan Tedeschi, and many more. Since founding TPTS, Trae Pierce & the T-Stones have shared the stage with artists like funk powerhouse George Clinton, Parliament Funkadelic, Sister Hazel, Eve 6, WAR, The Revivalists, Robert Randolph and The Family Band, Arrested Development, The Lee Boys, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, The Main Squeeze, and Montell Jordan, to name a few.

Heavily influenced by Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, John Patitucci, and Victor Wooten, Trae has expanded his talents to the next level, and is currently working on a bass-oriented solo project featuring some of the friends made during his 30 years of touring and playing music. Trae, who still tours with the Blind Boys of Alabama and Sugarfoot's Ohio Players, is known for sporting a top hat on stage and wowing crowds with his blistering riffs played on slide (yes, slide!) bass, as well as playing/singing talk box bass. Trae's versatility is well-utilized with his solo project, Trae Pierce and the T-Stone Bnad, which can be found touring and performing at major venues nationwide and worldwide.
