Stone Sole River

Encompassing hard rock, progressive blues, alt folk and psychedelia, Stone Sole River are a band described as having one foot in the past and one foot firmly in the future. Their music will take you on a journey through genre and time, constantly evolving and developing with every beat. The band, now entering their 18th year together, has built up a strong reputation playing in venues and festivals across the UK. They have toured extensively over this time opening for American blues virtuoso Joe Bonamassa on several of his UK tours as well as touring with Fish (Marillion). The past few years have also seen Stone Sole River perform with luminaries of classic rock such as The Blue Oyster Cult, Robin Trower, Mountain, Walter Trout and Wishbone Ash to name but a few. The band consists of Mike Parker guitar & vocals, Lee Buckle bass & vocals and Carl Meehan drums. They have released several EP’s as well as a critically acclaimed album, Terra Mama.
