The Joe Trainor Trio

Voted ‘Best Live Band’ in 2013 by WSTW, The Joe Trainor Trio is a piano-based rock trio known for its engaging original material and energetic live shows. JT3 is anchored by Joe Trainor (WSTW’s 2013 Artist Of The Year), whose vocals and piano ebb between enticing and heartfelt to soaring and aggressive. Kevin Niemi (bass) and Jeff Dement (drums) round out the Trio and provide the foundation with a precision and focus that help create the band’s singular sound. With two albums under their belt (2009′s “Drive” and 2012′s “Twelve Stories”) the band has been wowing audiences throughout the Philadelphia region. Their songs enjoy frequent rotation on local radio, and their regular appearances in regional festivals and clubs has made them a fixture in the area’s original music scene.
