Weakened Friends

Weakened Friends is one of my favorite bands, they were the opening act for Slothrust. Since they were close by, I took the opportunity to see them with my 2 adult children. The show was at the Turf Club in St. Paul. An old small venue from the 40s which is also a bar. Weakened Friends played for about 45 minutes, but they played all my favorites. Thier bass player, Annie Hoffman, pulled double duty and played bass for Slothrust also. I'm not reviewing Slothrust, but it was a fun and wild show. The Turf Club was packed and hot, but it was a great evening with the kids. I would go see other shows there for sure. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking around. We parked on street. Thanks to Weakened Friends for a wonderful event!

Weakened Friends might be my favorite band of all time. They bring an incredible energy to EVERY show I’ve ever seen. I thinks it’s rare to find a bank that rocks as hard as them, but also in between sets and songs keeps the audience equally as engaged with their stories and messages. Will be seeing them every chance I get!

They played even when lightning and thunder started. As soon as they finished it down poured. It was awesome

Weakened Friends are not only incredibly talented and professional, but they are all stellar people. Shows are full of energy and always a blast. 100/10 would recommend.

3rd time seeing them. I just tell everyone “yup, going to see my friends again. My Weakened Friends!”. Are they even capable of a bad performance? Why they aren’t superstars yet is mystifying! 1st time at No Fun. Good venue. Neat town. Would go again!

These guys rock! They should be much bigger than they are. Very underrated. Sounded great and they were into it despite the small crowd. Venue is cozy and beer prices are pretty reasonable.

Great set, great venue. I’ve seen them twice now, both times leaving me more impressed. Love the banter between the singer and the bass player. They band and the room acoustics were on point as they tore through song after song. Well worth risking my life on the drive home with the snowstorm! Thanks to the Church and the Friends for a good evening! I might have to road trip again to see them at the end of the month in Troy NY.

Great sound and energy. Saw them in Albany a few years ago on an evening with much less fan support. Great to see them play with a crowd.

Great show, great energy, great sound. I loved the banter between the band members. I liked how they opted for local bands to open for them. If you get a chance to see them, don’t hesitate. Same for Higher Ground in Burlington. Excellent venue!

they all just have some of the best stage presence i’ve ever seen and gave me the most intimate concert experience i’ve ever had so thank you guys!

Weakened Friends were amazing 🔥🔥🔥🔥 as was the 4 other bands. Born Without Bones absolutely killed it and Future Teen phenomenal 🙌🙌🙌🙌 Old Soul were so good and Pitty Pattern also very good.

Amazing talent from an up-and-coming band. Keep an eye on them!

Great show! Awesome music and free food. What else can you ask for on a Sunday afternoon?
