Roby Pantall Jazz

A professional musician since a young age, Roby grew up in India and Washington D.C. His first professional gig was for a New Year’s Eve party at the Oberoi Hotel in New Delhi, India at age 12. After moving to Washington D.C. in high school Roby played in blues bands and went on to graduate from Berklee College of Music in 1979 with a degree in jazz education. Roby played and taught music professionally for several years in WashingtonD.C. After moving his family to North West Arkansas in 1995 he played in several area local bands and churches before settling into jazz music. Roby has played jazz professionally in NWA for the last 10 years. He has played in all major jazz clubs, restaurants and events including the Walton Arts Center and Eureka Springs Jazz Festival. He favors playing in small duo or trio settings and has recently completed a new CD Roby Pantall Jazz Trio Elysian Fields in 2015. Roby also teaches jazz band and private lessons at North West Arkansas Community College. Currently playing regularly at Crystal Bridge, Ruth Chris and Sassafras Springs Vineyard.
