Grim Republic

Feeling, Grim? Grim Republic formed in Cuyahoga Falls, OH in the Winter of 2014 after high school bandmates Chris Stewart, Kyle Spreitzer, and Kirk Baglia reconnected during a college break. The trio’s passion for music had long been neglected, thus they began with the simple goal of performing on serious level. Soon after, Matt Frantz joined in on bass and the band’s first demo was released in the Summer of 2015. The band’s sound, unique in its own right, is a modern twist on early 2000’s pop punk - with touches of classic and heavy rock. Grim Republic has performed throughout Northeast Ohio, including venues such as The Outpost in Kent, Akron Musica, Tangier's, The Akron Rubber Ducks Stadium, PDT Soberfest, Paolino's, Wing Warehouse, and more. However, the band has its sights set on expanding to markets in Cleveland, Columbus, and surrounding states. Their single "Until Sunrise" made it onto 106.9's "Turd Tuesday" with Dan Stansbury in May 2017, and was voted "Not a Turd!" The band is constantly writing new material and looks forward to putting out a follow up EP to their hit single, “Tell Me Something.” Punk/Alternative Rock band from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
