GUERRILLAS

Founded in 2002 in Cluj-Napoca, Guerrillas is without a doubt one of the most important representatives of the hardcore-metal movement in Romania. In 2004, Guerrillas launched their first demo, "First Strike". The following period marked a series of performances at festivals and in various cities of Romania. The band had its first concert abroad in 2006 at Hunderground FESZT, Hungary. Guerrillas proudly 'opened' for Sepultura, Born From Pain, Blind Myself and Ektomorf. "Guerrilla Spirit", the first album, was released in 2008. This was followed by the "Guerrilla Spirit Tour" (headliner) and the "Allied Force Tour" (w/ SuperButt) in Romania and Hungary. In 2009, the "First European Tour" covered Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Germany, and the "Balkan Assault Tour" covered Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Serbia. The "Full Force" music video was also launched in 2009. In 2010 and 2011 Guerrillas attended club concerts and music festivals in Romania and Europe (Hungary, Serbia, Slovakia, Germany and the Netherlands). Collaborations: Pro-Pain, Cadaveres, Superbutt, Insane, Born from Pain, First Blood, The Haunted, Cataract, Madball, Skindred, and others. In 2012, the band released the EP "Together Forever Stronger" and a video with the same title, followed by a series of promotional concerts in Romania, Hungary, and Germany. Between 2013 and 2014 the band has undergone several line-up changes. In 2015 Guerrillas began working on a new album with the new members. In may 2016, "The Curse" music video was launched online, and was followed by a series of concerts which preceded the autumn/winter tour. In October 2016, Guerrillas launched the second album, "The Fire Revolution", the lyric video for the single "Time To Rock 'N' Roll", and is currently on tour.
