About Bay Spring Folk
Bay Spring Folk plays "eclectic folk" which encompasses traditional American folk songs as well as originals. Songs include great vocal harmonies and fun instrumental work on fiddle, guitars, mandolin, bass, harmonica, recorder, and egg. They are the house band at the Bay Spring Community Center in Barrington, were nominated for Motif Magazine’s Best Folk Act 2013, and were finalists in the Providence Local Band Showcase at Roots Cultural Center. Featured in the Providence Journal's CONNECT section, their music was described as "thoughtful and whimsical and fun." Band members are Larson Gunness, Sydney Montstream-Quas, John Wood, and Greg Sadovnikoff.
