The Bunks

The Bunks are an American garage rock band that was formed in New Jersey in 2014. The group consists of twins Jozcel Fernandez (guitar, vocals), Jonzi Fernandez (drums), and life-long friend Jon Chang-Soon (bass guitar). After bursting into the New Jersey music scene with the release of their first single "Rolling Dolls", the trio was quickly compared to acts such as The White Stripes and The Black Keys. After hearing their debut single, Tim Louie of The Aquarian was quick to write, “These kids bleed the blues and are full of soul! Where the hell did they come from?” After months of relentless gigging throughout New Jersey and New York City, The Bunks went back into the studio to record their debut EP "Here Comes The Storm". The band’s raw, blues rock sound that can be heard all across the EP draws heavily from iconic rock n’ roll influences, such as Led Zeppelin, Jack White, and Dan Auerbach. The Bunks are currently filling out venues throughout New Jersey, New York City, and Philadelphia, whilst simultaneously preparing to release their second EP in the spring of 2017. The Bunks are a rock n' roll band from New Jersey. Their pedal boards are also skateboards.
