Taliesha Harris

Taliesha Harris is a professional musician specializing in Jazz and Popular vocals; She also plays the acoustic guitar and piano. Born on October 3, 1995, in Shoal harbor NSW, she stumbled into her music career by studying a Bachelor of Music at CQUniversity after High School.

She has worked full time as a musician for 1 year during the last year of her Bachelor’s degree, where she sung both lead and harmony vocals across a variety of genres in both university pop/Jazz ensembles and outside bands. She has been the lead vocalist for the cover band Hypnosis, performing every week for 6 months. She has also sung backing vocals for Jazz/Funk band The Natural Culture. She now has her own acoustic solo act, incorporating vocals, acoustic guitar and stomp box to cover a variety of music, as well as her original works.

For Taliesha, the journey has just begun and she endeavors to one day tour Australia performing her original compositions. She is a passionate activist of gender equality and environmental protection, which she aims to incorporate as themes throughout her original music. Taliesha touch’s everyday people with joy, thoughtfulness and happiness through her music, which she hopes will make a positive impact upon society.
