Tequila Ridge

Tequila Ridge was formed in 2012 by Chuck McDowell and Glen Shipman. Their style of rock and country blend suits a vast variety of venues and crowds. From Johnny Cash to The White stripes. Cage the Elephant to Al Green. Their style suits all.

In addition to the many covers, Tequila Ridge also has a catalogue of original music written by Glen Shipman, the bands lead vocalist, rhythm guitar player, and fiddler.

Heath Blanke adds to the groups versatility by bringing a decade of experience behind his drum kit. He's a hard hitting, dynamic and talented percussionist that brings life to the beat.

Alongside Heath, Vince Clendenon rocks the groove on bass. Vince has played in several well known bands around the Wichita area. Vince is the life of the party and brings not only that but talent to the stage.

Rounding out the group is lead guitarist Jay Carpenter. As a Texas native blues aficionado, Jay adds the technical ability and pure growling soul to the Tequila Ridge sound.

Altogether, their spin on songs, made popular by country and rock-n-roll greats, leave the audience feeling they've experienced that song for the first time. Tequila Ridge is a must listen to band coming to a venue near you soon.
