The sound was of very high quality, which is key for jazz concerts.
AKA Moon is definitely a trio of world class.
It's really a shame to pay only 22€ for such professionals, with regards to very poor concerts of "stars" in huge stadiums you pay more than 100€ ...
Those jazz professionals should deserve much better compensations.

The event was in un unusual venue, in the old fruit garden of Compot, located in Doornzele, far from the Ghent city center. The weather was awful, as it was the coldest Sep 17th since temperature measurements began. Despite the streaming rain, wind, and cold, the attendance was good. The concert organizers had put on a large tent and provided blankets so that everybody could stay warm and dry.
Despite the cold, the Aka Moon musicians were very generous in their time, as the concert lasted almost two hours. The music was a heavenly mix of funk, complex rhythms, gorgeous tunes and brilliant improvisations. The audience enjoyed it immensely and gave a standing ovation. Everybody happy.

About Aka Moon
The unique place Aka Moon occupies in todays music scene is because, independently of any particular trends, they combine art with inspired musical craftsmanship. This allows the musical personalities of saxophonist and composer Fabrizio Cassol, electric bassist Michel Hatzigeorgiou and drummer Stéphane Galland to explore all kinds of musical traditions and merge them into their own musical universe.
