Damsel Trash sprang fully-formed from the skull of Madison-based alt-country outfit Little Red Wolf; the raucous, outrageous, filthy-minded offspring that has nothing in common with its progenitor other than sharing two of its members (Meghan Rose and Emily Mills). DT is all frenetic punk energy with a twist of trash funk, deeply feminist, tongue-in-cheek, and absolutely committed to letting their freak flag fly. They'd be at home in the company of bands like Bikini Kill, Deap Vally, the Hussy, Dead Kennedys, Peaches, Sleater Kinney, and Iggy & the Stooges. Meg & Em make a habit of taking off their ridiculous show outfits down to the bra, bantering about stupid shit, and bringing snacks to live shows so come hungry for over-processed foodstuffs and candy.
