Krush Faktory

For almost a decade now the Krush Faktory, a collective of musicians and friends from the Boston area, was formed out of Thursday night jams at Bull McCabes in Somerville, MA with the "Dub Down Crew." The band features singers Jimmy Trapella, Craig Akira Fujita and MC Kabir Sen, with Boey Russell on drums, Marc Friedman on bass. Jonas Kahn on guitar and the legendary Dana Colley (Morphine) on saxophone. Members of the Krush Faktory continue to play every Thursday night at Bull McCabes pub in Somerville, MA and regularly join forces with the Naya Rockers (a crew of musicians led by drummer Nathan Sabanayagam). The entire collective features songwriters Sarah Brindell, guitar phenoms Van Gordon Martin and Johnny Trama, bassists Geoff Scott, Felix Fantasia, Timo Shanko, plus keyboardists Yusaku Yoshimura, Sam Gilman, Tariq Nicholson and many other musicians. The Krush Faktory and Naya crews also join Kabir Sen for his monthly jam at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, MA (occurring on the first Saturday of every month).
