Ked ColoradoBorn Kedrick Washington in Denver, Colorado. Raised along with two sisters in a single parent household where his mother was the only bread winner working two jobs as well as playing the role of both mother and father to three children. Kedrick was a very intelligent and vocal child growing up, he was a member of both the youth & angel choir at King Baptist church, he was also a member of what he now calls an award winning choir at hill middle school. Kedrick did a number of things including sports football and basketball for prince hall pal athletic team under the teachings and guidance of his grandfather David Washington Sr. Kedrick Washington now known as Ked Co. (Colorado) Washington say's he has always been in tune with his self and his love for music. He recalls his first independent project Tired of struggling at age 16 after the death of his grandfather which took a toll on him. It hurt bad say's Ked co. really fucked me up! But he continued to hone his craft not releasing other independent project 2 for 3 yrs. Until the death of his mother,his incarceration, & his almost untimely demise at the hands of rival gang members! It's almost as if the pain gives substance for me to express my life’s trials and tribulations says Ked, who is currently working on his solo album debut Lazarus R.O.R.R. (resurrection of reality rap) to be promptly released in 2014 off of W.Y.G.U. Ent.. A Colorado based record label ran by label head Christina (Chocolate Swag Washington) who is also his wife! It’s exciting say's Ked Co. it's my turn and I’m taking full advantage of it. Be sure to grab that mix tape coming soon from Ked Co. it's incredible! Look for this guy to put Colorado's rap game in its proper place. Ked Co has opened for artists such as Young Dro in 2012 at Casselmann’s Event Center, Paul Wall and Hurricane Chris 2012 in Colorado Springs at the Golden Cue, Snoop Dogg in 2009 at The Ogden Theatre, as well as touring with the Music is A Privilege Tour alongside Killa Tay, Keak Da Sneak, Kafani, Big Rich, Young Doe, Kevin Pistol, and Slap House Records..
