Hello--my name is Thomas. I play a right-handed guitar as if it were a lefty. That's just how I learned it. I am a lyrical singer-songwriter who grew up hearing and singing songs from a book called the "Songs of Believers"--sad but redemptive hymns sung in the Finnish Lutheran churches of Minnesota and northern Wisconsin. I am indebted to all of the original songwriters and bands of North America and to the many important songwriters in the long history of recorded music. But somewhere beneath it all lies a hymnal--a reckoning with faith in a world of woe. Lyrical folk songwriter from northwestern Wisconsin.
