About Leaf Jumpers

Leaf Jumpers were formed in 1995 by guitarist/singer Chris Marra and bass player Spike Kingsley. Guitarist/singer Matt Bureau joined shortly thereafter with drummer Scott Pezsko joining in January 1997. The classic lineup toured the east coast for 2 years. During that time they opened for such acts as Sister Hazel, Disco Biscuits, Max Creek, NRBQ, Deep Banana Blackout, God Street Wine and others. They played at many of the Northeast's best venues including Toad's Place, the Webster Theater, The Wetlands, The Lions Den, TT the Bears, and The Georgia Theater. Personnel changes and road wariness contributed to the band's demise in early 2001, and a brief reunion in 2003 was short lived. Now the band is returning to the scene after a 10 year absence and ready to bring high quality rock jams to fans old and new. They have released both full length studio albums and a new live album digitally, and plan to record a new studio album in 2014. The sounds of classic rock meet modern adult alternative. Great songs sweet harmonies and solid musicianship, Leaf Jumpers are the real deal
