Solko

Solko are a 7 piece band with heavy guitars, horns and stomping rhythms. Described as “Refreshingly different, enjoying a collision of more traditional and less contemporary fusions, with a bag of tunes that are emotive, carefree and just downright interesting.” Over the past few years Solko have been firmly planting their name as purveyors of dub/rock in the UK. With national tours and various UK and European festival appearances under their belt, Solko have been winning over the hearts and wearing out the shoes of people everywhere. Through phenomenal live energy, powerful groove-driven writing and a whole heap of soul, Solko create an infectious and distinctive sound that will keep you on your toes. Late 2015 saw the release of 'DOG' which was highly praised by BBC6 music presenter Tom Robinson. Solko are set to record and release more new material in 2016.
