White Rose

Hailing from Bali, Indonesia, pop-punk band White Rose were formed in early-2007. They consist of guitarist and vocalist Surya Dipta, lead guitarist Ian Putra, bassist Krisna Goib, and drummer Satria Priangga. They released the ‘Buktikan ‘Ku Bisa EP’ in 2012, and followed with their debut full-length album ‘Buka Mata Mereka’ through their local independent records label Heartless Records in May 2015. Their debut album has brought them gaining respect from other predecessor artists in their scene like Superman Is Dead and Pee Wee Gaskins, and also dedicated local fan base from the followers on their social media. Along the way, the four passionate guys in White Rose have brought big impacts to the local scene, especially in a pop-punk revival. They are like a blast of fresh air over the most stale corners of the underground music community in their city. They have been playing in many clubs and festivals around Bali and Java and growing their loyal supporters called "White Rose Family" in every city they play. Whether the band is playing in large venues or house shows, it’s safe to predict that White Rose will be doing it with the same energy. Their musical styles remind people of bands such as New Found Glory, blink-182, The Starting Line, State Champs, The Story So Far and other modern American pop punk bands. The combination of enthusiastic lyrics, fast punk rock energy, pop-influenced melodies and catchy tones makes their songs easily loved by many people, especially youngsters since it can encourage and inspire them to be more optimistic.
