Formed in 2014 just outside of Raleigh, Tortuga Stone is the craft beer of bands. The members have combined their collective influences of 80s and 90s rock and turned it into relevant original music. The group has played performance halls, dive bars, street corners and benefit shows – each time entertaining dedicated fans and making new ones with their unique sound and lyrics. Whether it’s performing their original catalogue or favorite cover songs, Tortuga Stone delivers melodic vocals, crunchy rock guitars and a pulsing foundation of rhythm that is often hard, sometimes dark, sometimes light, yet always genuine...
