Kronus

Kronus was formed on August 17, 2008. Originally composed of Richard Castro on Vocals, Mikee Solano on bass, Ryan Ledesma on guitars and Rayneth Dumadaog on drums (who was later on replaced by Ino Solano, Mikee's younger brother) and Renz Andrada was later added in the lineup to fill in the rhythm guitar section. Right after they were formed they spent 2008-2010 in rehearsing and songwriting and entered the local music scene in 2011. In November of 2011, The band recorded a 2 song DEMO EP which features their original songs entitled "Karma Sutra" and "Your Pain Is My Pleasure". Summer of 2012, Mikee and Ino Solano's family migrated to Canada which caused the ceasing of our album recording and regular playing. After months of hiatus and lineup changes, with only 3 original members left they've decided to continue the band with 2 new members: Jabe Mission of the Death Metal act "Servorum" on guitars and Carlo Piedad of the Metalcore band "Synopsis" on drums and tried their luck at "Red Horse Beer Muziklaban Rock Challenge 2012" and ended up as Semi-Finalist. They've played at Kapatiran V in Iloilo (The biggest metalfest in Region VI) and opened shows for local rock heroes like Slapshock, Greyhoundz and Wilabaliw that year. 2014, Carlo Piedad (Drummer) left the band for career priorities and Laurence Sayson of Metal band "Henceforth" took the drum duties DEMO (https://soundcloud.com/kronus-ph/sets/demo) Metal band from Silay City, Philippines. Formed August of 2008.
