Damian Marhulets

German based composer, visual artist and producer Damian Marhulets seeks to overcome the separation of musical genres for a more integrated artistic approach. He is the founder of many musical projects spanning modern classical traditions to audiovisual performances, DJ-ing and art installations. He writes concert music as well as music for theater, film and dance. Drawn upon his long term fascination for radical fringes of music making Damian feels most comfortable when blurring lines between musical genres. Combining his concert music roots with sound-design skills and years-long experience as an electronic music producer, he throws away conventional music clichés in order to develop original music language and explore new sonic landscapes.
