Il quinto disco Home (INRI, 2016), distribuito globalmente attraverso VP Records, racchiude i primi 10 anni della band, a base di roots rock reggae con sporadiche strizzatine d'occhio a sonorità e beat dell'underground elettronico moderno e arricchito da una importante presenza di cori in pieno stile 70 revival.

Dal roots di matrice britannica che contraddistingue le produzioni iniziali, i Train To Roots hanno incorporato alla loro musica numerosi elementi contemporanei in una crescita continua, nutrendo le loro solide radici con la forte passione per la musica senza limiti che li caratterizza.

The Sardinian band is one of the most representatives Italian reggae bands and has published already 5 albums since the debut in 2004: the namesake album "TRAIN TO ROOTS" (2005), "TERRA E ACQUA" (2008), "BREATHING' FAYA" (2011) “GROWING”, (2014).

A great creativity, some positive perseverance and a serious determination is the perfect blend which allows the TRAIN TO ROOTS to evolve and be able to keep up with the times. These qualities are highly recognized and acclaimed by their audience, which is more and more abundant and demanding. Behind their hot and entertaining live shows there’s a burning and endless passion for music such as an intense study. Rooted in British early reggae, the band later turned in genres more in line with contemporary music canons, ranging from different kinds of reggae and black music. The need to send a message remains very deep, in order to continue to create a constructive dialogue with the public which is an essential part of this train going to the roots.
An artistic path ,considerably dynamic and rewarding, which in almost ten years has really strengthen the eight members of the band, giving them the possibility to boast of enriching experiences and collaborations with international artists (Sergeant Garcia, Al Cambpell, General Levy, Jamaram ...) and to participate in the most important national and across borders reggae festivals (Spain, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia).

The fifth album Home (INRI, 2016), distributed globally by VP Records, it showcases the first 10 years of the band, essentially a roots rock reggae sound but with occasional nods to underground electronic beats and contemporary sounds and enriched with the poignant presence of 70s revival style choruses.
While their British maternal roots were clearly apparent in their early production, Train To Roots stand out for their use of many contemporary elements which they incorporate into their music, continually growing while nurturing their roots, with a strong passion for music without limits.
