When The Broken Burn

When The Broken Burn is a 4 piece Beatdown Hardcore band from Salem Oregon. They started out in 2014. As a Metalcore band When members Nicolas Quinones and Will Comerford (ex To Die Elsewhere) joined to start there own band. They found members Andrew Walpole (keys), Shane Dunn (bass), and David Bennett (guitar). They have stayed strong through the years. They parted ways with Bennett (guitar). An started to create an EP. From 2014-2016 they have opened up for multiple acts such as Betraying The Martyrs, Sylar, I Declare War, The Ghost Inside, I Prevail, Dangerkidz, Texas In July, To The Wind, Invent Animate, Wage War, Traitors, Spite, and many more. Towards the end of 2015. They went into the studio to record a two part EP called "Betrayal & Trials EP". Recorded and produced by Alex Christian (Among Legends) Betrayal & Trials EP made When The Broken Burn stand out in the Portland music scene. After recording Part 1 they dropped a music video for there single called "My Resurrection " filmed by Logan Cheshire of (Above The Broken). When The Broken Burn was hitting hard. Since there single they dropped other songs as well as finished they Part 2 to the EP Trials. Trials shows a new direction for the band. When members Walpole (keys), Comerford (drums), and Dunn (bass) have parted ways. Quinones (vocals) the last remaining original member. Decided to keep the band going regardless. To hit harder as a Beatdown/Hardcore band. With newer members Adam Colón (guitar), Carter Alt (drums), and Chase McMillin (bass). For the year of pushing through shows and a tour. Colón and Alt have parted ways. The band took on Trevor McClennen (Ex-Eternal Covenant/ As Death Comes Calling) to play guitar and Joe Pacheco (Ex-Eternal Covenant) to play drums. The band has gone full force. Pushing out new material and playing shows. The message they strive to spread is one that resonates in all of us. No matter who you are or where you are from. We all have a story to tell. We all go through hard times. We can get through it together.
