TAKEN BY STORM TAKEN BY STORM's dentity and signature sound is a powerful classic rock with a modern approaches ( elements of metal, alternative rock, folk, electro rock ), influenced by the bands like MUSE, KORN, LED ZEPPELIN, NIRVANA, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, MARELYN MANSON, METALLICA, NICKELBACK, JOHNNY CASH, NICK CAVE, THE POGUES, etc... mixed with a recognizable voice and a positive attitude exploding on stage! With a casual look and edgy sensitivity, Timmy Storm's the voice, rhythm guitarist, and resident poet/lyricist for TAKEN BY STORM ! On the bass is Donn Torres, a multi-talented California musician who, in his long career, has had the opportunity to rub shoulders with great artists from the US and Europe. Hedi Black, experienced artist and in many cases the tireless leader of the group, lends himself to the role of the drummer for TAKEN BY STORM. Alex Sanders, a virtuoso guitar player who has played with many top artists, joined TAKEN BY STORM in November 2014. With these four dynamic artists the group has taken off and is giving it their all on the new album ( out in april 2017 )! In the few years of working as a band and promoting their first album '' We ain't innocent '' ( CD in swiss stores but also on iTunes, Pandora, Napster, Soundmedia, Deezer, Spotify, CeDe.ch, FNAC, Amazon, ExLibris, rDio ), TAKEN BY STORM can be proud of playing an active part in the European music scene. They have played some of Europe’s most exciting and important stages and music festivals such as Montreux Jazz Festival and Red Pigs Festival in Switzerland, Exit Festival in Serbia, and many more. Other venues include Satellit Club - Roannes/France, Bitef Art Cafe - Belgrade/Serbia, Hall Of Fame - Zürich/Switzerland, Mr. Pickwick - Geneva/Switzerland...as well as many others. During this period the band has shared the stage with the biggest world acts. Currently working on their second studio album, TAKEN BY STORM are also filming new music videos (out by the end of October) and getting ready to hit the road for a Swiss and European tour this fall. 2017 looks to be a busy year as well with shows planned in Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, Holland, Russia and more. Avec son allure désinvolte auréolée d’une sensibilité à fleur de peau, Timmy Storm est la voix et guitare rythmique de Taken By Storm. La basse est assurée par Donn Torres, musicien multi-talents arrivé de Californie qui, dans sa longue carrière, a eu l’opportunité de jouer aux côtés de grands artistes américains et européens. Hedi Black, artiste expérimenté et souvent moteur infatigable du groupe, assure la batterie de TAKEN BY STORM. Alex Sanders, guitariste de classe internationale, a rejoint TAKEN BY STORM en novembre 2014. Avec ces 4 artistes dynamiques, le groupe a décollé et met le paquet sur leur nouvel album en cours de production ( sortie en avril 2017 )! En deux ans de travail et promotion en live de leur premier album '' We ain't innocent '' ( CD in swiss stores but also on iTunes, Pandora, Napster, Soundmedia, Deezer, Spotify, CeDe.ch, FNAC, Amazon, ExLibris, rDio ),Taken By Storm peut être fier d'avoir pris activement part à la scène musicale européenne en ayant joué plus de 60 concerts... dont certains réputés comme étant de grandes et notables scènes et festivals de musique (Montreux Jazz Festival, Exit Festival, Red Pigs Festival etc.) ainsi que d’autres belles salles comme le Satellit Club – Roannes / France, Bitef Art Cafe – Belgrade / Serbie, Hall Of Fame – Zürich / Suisse, PickWick Club Genève / Suisse parmi tant d’autres. Pendant cette période le groupe a aussi partagé la scène avec des artistes de renommée mondiale. Travaillant actuellement sur leur nouvel album studio et sur de nouveaux clips dont la sortie est prévue pour fin octobre, le groupe se prépare à prendre la route pour une tournée suisse et européenne cet automne. Beaucoup d’autres pays sont prévus pour le début de l’année prochaine, comme l’Allemagne, l’Autriche, la France, la Belgique, la Hollande, la Russie et d’autres. Leger retour en arrière...
