Russian duo MEG \ NERAK have firmly scorched their name into the psyche of the electronic dance music community with their genuinely fresh take on club music, combining boundless energy with equally infectious melodies. When not in the studio or onstage, the guys’ Instagram accounts display their double life with MEG a world class street dancer and NERAK no less spectacular in the gym. Standout releases from the Moscow-based pair include ‘Concorde’ through Afrojack’s Wall Recordings, ‘Rocking’ on Sebastian Ingrosso’s Refune and a number of tracks on Axwell’s Axtone where the boys now call home. ‘Get Down’ is the latest release on Axtone and was premiered at this year’s Tomorrowland by Axwell/\Ingrosso; a record preceded by ‘Ethnos’ and the Shapov collaborative releases ‘Dream About It’, ‘Everybody’, (Everybody EP) & the evergreen ‘Party People’. The trio of Russians also partnered up to remix Afrojack ft Mike Taylor's ‘Summerthing’ on the legendary DefJam recordings which has acquired over 1m streams on Soundcloud to date. Firmly believing that sharing is caring, the doublet recently made their James Brown tribute ‘Funky’ available as a free download with more gratis tracks on the way. Regular club hoppers in their native country, MEG \ NERAK are a veritable tour de force behind the decks, having brought their relentlessly eclectic DJ sets to the likes of Tomorrowland (Belgium), Ushuaïa (Ibiza) and Aquarius (Croatia).
