FunkyTim & the Merlots

FunkyTim has been a staple in the Central Valley music scene for over a decade. As a core member of the groove rock band Minor Dischord and co-founder of local top 40 juggernauts The 209 All Stars, FunkyTim has established himself as one of busiest performers in the area.

In 2017, FunkyTim joined forces with fellow 209 All Stars alumni Rudy Escajeda, Brandon Michael, and James Ayala to form The Merlots, a back to basics combination of feel good covers and originals. The Merlots pull inspiration from 70's R&B, 80's Pop, and 90's Alternative, often times retreating to a laid-back, acoustic atmosphere.
