The Original Five

The Original Five är ett bluegrassband från Malmö. Musikalisk grund är den klassiska bluegrassen från 40- och 50-talen men det finns också modernare influenser, inte minst i bandets eget låtskrivande, vilket utgör en stor del av repertoaren. På livespelningar kan man, förutom det egna materialet, förvänta sig höra en hel del klassiska bluegrasslåtar och en och annan countrylåt.

The Original Five is a bluegrass band from Malmö, Sweden. Musical foundation is the classic bluegrass from the 40’s an 50’s but there’s also room for modern influences, not least in the bands own song writing, which constitutes a large part of the repertoire. In live situations you can expect a healthy dose of classic bluegrass songs and the odd country number in addition to the bands own material.
