“An explosion of energy that captures your attention with groove, style and infectious melodies!” Formed in 2014, Norell & The Dub Factory consists of five members: in addition to Norell on lead vocals and producer Nico on bass, the line-up is a guitarist, drummer and background vocalist/synth player. “We’re all about spreading the good vibes!” says Italian-born Norell whose dynamic energy is evident on the genre-defying blend of edgy grooves and reggae-flavoured pop to be heard on the team’s releases. Attracting global audiences online, Norell & The Dub Factory have performed throughout the UK, in Italy and Spain. In addition to one EP, the band has released three singles, “Ya-Ya Girl,” “Diggin’ It Down” and “Freak” with accompanying vibrant videos. Says Norell, “I’m a groove machine! I started out dancing as a young child so I’m always going to bring that physical element to the music - onstage or in videos. Style has a lot to do with it. I really express myself through imagery and in our live show. The clothes I wear and the way we set up the stage matches the venues we’re playing.” Looking ahead, “We’re working on a new single for 2018 and we’ve begun collaborating with other writers for the project.
