From the humble beginnings of endless basement jam sessions,to headlining a music festival in Pickering, Ontario, to opening for Protest the Hero, these four young musicians have come together to create an entire new sound. Since then, they have strived to compose compelling music with intricate instrumentals, heavy rock, soulful vocals, and impacting, meaningful lyrics as an attempt to create something ‘different’. As an independent band, Kopano appeals to a wide audience with their diverse style, and continues toward their break into the music industry. With a variety of influences and playing styles, Kopano seeks to contribute to the progressive style of rock music, and to bring nothing but energy and heart to their crowd. We play music
