About Molten Gold
Molten Gold are a progressive hard rock five-piece emerging from Norway's capital of Oslo. The group suckle heavily at the teat of classic rock, blending influences from acts such as Uriah Heep, Black Sabbath and early Iron Maiden with a modern sound. The band's eponymous debut single of March 2017 received repeated airplay on Norwegian radio, and was selected to appear on Terrorizer Magazine's CD for issue no. 281.
Molten Gold's 2017 debut EP had Powerplay Rock and Metal Magazine musing “whilst many of our classic heritage bands are noticeable as influences…with tight Deep Purple style punctuation and Zeppelin guitar breaks…there’s also a freshness and contemporary feel, making this a very decent debut release”. Having appeared at a number of festivals and key Norwegian venues, Molten Gold are currently in the process of producing their first full-length album.
