Die ostdeutsche Thrash Metal Band Tormentor wurde im Jahr 2006 von Max Seipke im Alter von 12 Jahren gegründet. Zusammen mit dem Produzenten Evil(Antimensch) nahm man 2007 das erste Demo "Lesson in Aggression" auf, welches man ein Jahr später veröffentlichte. Nach der Veröffentlichung stieg Thomas Wedemeyer als Schlagzeuger in die Band. Mit dem Demo und einigen neuen Songs im Gepäck tourte man die nächsten 2 Jahre als Duo durch die Lausitz. Das Demo erhielt überwiegend positive Resonanz in Fanzines wie z.B. dem Metal Guardian oder Headbangers Zine aus den Niederlanden. Der Ritterschlag für die Band kam jedoch von Kreator Chef Mille Petrozza, welcher die Band Live in einem Radio Interview lobte! Im Jahr 2010 begann man ,ebenfalls wieder mit Produzent Evil, die Aufnahmen zum Debütalbum "Violent World". Nach Beendigung der Aufnahmen im Jahre 2011 kamen dann Kevin Hauch an der Rhythmusgitarre und Christian Schomber am Bass zu der Band hinzu und komplettierten somit das Line Up. Im Februar 2012 veröffentlichte man "Violent World" bei Iron Shield Records. Es bekam überwiegend positives Feedback von u.a. Rock Hard, Metal Hammer und Heavy. Anschließend zur Veröffentlichung tourte man durch Brandenburg, Sachsen und auch Polen und machte sich somit einen Namen in der Untergrundszene. 2013 und 2014 wurde intensiv zum schreiben neuer Songs genutzt, welche noch dieses Jahr aufgenommen werden sollen und voraussichtlich 2016 erscheinen sollen.

The east German Thrash Metal band TormentoR was formed in the year 2006 by Max Seipke in the age of 12 years. Together with producer Evil(Antimensch) they recorded the first demo „Lesson in Aggression“ in 2007, which was released in the following year. Shortly after the release of it, Thomas Wedemeyer became the new drummer of the band. With the demo and some new songs they took over the road as a two-pieced band for the next two years. The demo mostly got good feedback by fanzines as Metal Guardian or Headbangers Zine from the Netherlands. But the biggest compliment came from the Kreator mastermind Mille Petrozza himself, as he praised the band in a radio station interview!
In the year 2010 the band went into the studio, once again with producer Evil, to record their debut album “Violent World”. After the recording was done, Christian Schomber on bass and Kevin Hauch on the rhythm guitar became new members of the band. “Violent World” was released in 2012 via Iron Shield Records. The album mostly got good feedback from Rock Hard, Metal Hammer, Heavy and many more! Following the release they toured through Saxony, Brandenburg and Poland and established their name in the underground scene.
2013 and 2014 there mostly used for writing new songs, which will be recorded this year and hopefully released in 2016.
